Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, is seeking Buyers across levels to support engineering, testing, commissioning, and EPC projects from our Utah-focused operations. Roles range from entry to senior, with placement based on experience and qualifications and reporting to Procurement leadership.

Locations include our South Jordan, UT office, with responsibilities spanning PO processing, RFQ preparation, vendor relations, and records management in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Buyer I–Entry Level requires an Associate’s degree; 2 years relevant experience in lieu; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Buyer II–Developing requires a Bachelor’s degree; minimum 2 years procurement experience; ERP experience required.
• Buyer III–Experienced requires a Bachelor’s degree; 4 years experience in lieu; 4 years procurement experience with at least 2 years in EPC/construction; CPSM, CPCM, or PMP a plus.
• All Levels require proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP/procurement system experience; strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders for standard materials and services under direct supervision.
• Prepare and issue RFQs; conduct bid tabulations and present award recommendations to supervisor.
• Develop working relationships with approved vendors; resolve routine delivery, invoice, and quality issues.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers on material requirements, lead times, and delivery priorities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in Dashiell’s ERP system; provide guidance to Buyer I staff as needed.
