Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to work on-site at an office location in Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, Omaha, NE, or Portland, ME.

You will collect, synthesize, and document data related to environmental compliance (stormwater, wastewater, air quality, oil storage, hazardous materials, waste) and assist with permit preparation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in environmental compliance projects.
• Experience with stormwater, wastewater, air quality/emissions, oil storage, hazardous materials, and waste regulations.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle per Brice policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys/assessments following regulatory guidelines and project direction.
• Adhere to schedule and financial objectives to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with environmental staff on data collection and evaluation for project objectives.
• Provide guidance and oversight for written project documentation.
• Review processes to obtain and update environmental permits, plans, and reports.
