Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise-level IT solutions. You will develop architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and roadmaps that align with strategy, compliance, and performance targets.

You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to assess feasibility, scalability, security, and interoperability while guiding system integration and standards across the lifecycle. Strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and governance of enterprise-level IT solutions.
• Develop architecture frameworks, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
• Ensure technical solutions align with organizational strategy, compliance standards, and operational performance requirements.
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive solution architectures.
• Evaluate proposed solutions for technical feasibility, scalability, interoperability, security, and performance.
• Design and oversee system integration approaches across enterprise technology environments.
• Establish, document, and enforce technical and architecture standards.
• Provide technical oversight throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, developers, and other technical professionals to guide solution design and implementation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their potential use within existing and future technology ecosystems.
• Ensure system architectures support data integrity, availability, security, and operational resilience.
• Identify and address architectural risks, dependencies, and technical constraints.
• Optimize solution designs for maintainability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to project and development teams.
