Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Asset Management Analyst to manage a portfolio of enterprise software publishers within our Software Asset Management organization.

You will oversee licensing, compliance, entitlement management, consumption analysis, forecasting, optimization, and lifecycle management in a large tech environment. You will partner with technology owners, Product Owners, engineering teams, IT Asset Management Operations, governance, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years IT Asset Management experience in a large or complex enterprise environment.
• 5+ years experience managing IT assets and overseeing IT service costs and revenues.
• At least 5 years experience in a total IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end software asset lifecycle of assigned enterprise portfolios.
• Monitor entitlements, inventory, deployment, and consumption to maintain licensing accuracy.
• Identify and remediate software licensing and compliance risks.
• Support software audits, renewals, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical owners, engineers, governance, and vendors to improve SAM processes.
