Job summary

The City of Las Vegas is seeking an Enterprise Project Manager to oversee enterprise technology projects that cross departmental lines, have high citizen visibility, and are funded by the IT capital project budget.

The ideal candidate excels at influencing diverse stakeholders, leading project teams, and delivering results within budget and timeline constraints. A Bachelor’s degree and strong business engagement skills are required; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of increasingly responsible project management experience, preferably in IT.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise technology projects that cross department lines and have high visibility.
• Define project scope, objectives and timelines; write and maintain project plans.
• Negotiate changes, staffing and costs; ensure stakeholders are informed and involved.
• Monitor project status, audits, and deliverables; coordinate meetings with users and staff.
• Prepare project budgets and reports; participate in contract negotiations and administration.
