Job summary

Compass is seeking an Internal Communications Lead to support our Enterprise Communications team. This role translates strategy and priorities into clear, compelling communications that inform, engage and inspire employees across our brands.

Based in the New York area with Madison, NJ as an option, you will collaborate with stakeholders, shape executive messaging, and enable leaders with tools to connect with their teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, or a related corporate communications field.
• Strong attention to detail and an editorial eye for all written copy.
• Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and project management tools is a plus.
• Real estate industry experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide internal communications strategies that support company priorities and initiatives.
• Support major company announcements, product launches, integration milestones, with communication plans and materials.
• Project manage communications initiatives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain consistent voice and tone across communications for senior executives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex ideas into clear language.
• Enable people leaders with tools and guidance to communicate with their teams.
• Support live and virtual team meetings with speaker notes and materials.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled tools to enhance workflows.
• Contribute to engaging content across social platforms to boost brand visibility.
