Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Business Architect to deliver internal consulting and lead enterprise-level changes. The role links business strategy to capabilities, people, processes, technology, and information, guiding senior leaders through complex problems and driving improvements.

You’ll influence strategic planning, develop business architecture, and translate strategies into roadmaps and portfolios, partnering with leaders to enable data-driven decisions and enterprise-wide impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior-level consulting engagements and drive enterprise initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops with senior leaders across departments.
• Provide guidance on complex business problems and actionable options.
• Apply business analysis tools to reduce ambiguity and enable data-driven decisions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture models.
• Translate strategies into roadmaps and annual project portfolios.
• Analyze current and future states, identify performance gaps, and root causes.
• Understand interactions of business behavior patterns to achieve goals.
• Monitor trends in business, technology, and regulatory environments for recommendations.
• Plan and execute enterprise business planning processes.
• Influence leaders to adopt disciplined planning practices.
• Build working relationships with business strategy owners.
