Job summary

State of Missouri's OA-ITSD seeks an Enterprise Architect to drive technical direction for the Department of Revenue. You will evaluate emerging technologies, define multi-platform architectures, and ensure security, scalability, and interoperability across the portfolio.

This role requires hands-on leadership, mentoring, and the ability to present concise roadmaps to executive stakeholders while coordinating resources to deliver complex projects on time.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong leadership and supervisory capabilities to guide a small team.
• Experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale IT architectures and solutions.
• Strong communication skills for executive-level advisement and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging technologies for feasibility and business value.
• Develop integrated architectural plans of moderate-to-high complexity that align with future IT strategies.
• Define technical standards across IT functions to ensure interoperability and scalability.
• Influence high-level decisions and present clear roadmaps to stakeholders.
• Oversee complex applications architectures and security standards.
• Lead hands-on design, development, and deployment phases of initiatives.
