Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis seeks an Enterprise Architect to guide Treasury portfolio technology, establish architecture standards, and drive cloud-enabled program innovation.

This role emphasizes strategic thinking, collaboration, and scalable, secure design in a highly regulated setting. You will lead cross-functional architecture discussions, mentor teams, and partner with stakeholders to align technology with business objectives while delivering compliant, resilient solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience across large-scale tech implementations.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and data governance.
• Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Knowledge of cyber security within a GovCloud, regulated environment.
• Experience driving consensus and delivering results in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, with ability to translate tech risks to business teams.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Treasury portfolio in system workgroups and build consensus for cloud roadmaps.
• Translate enterprise tech decisions into forward-looking roadmaps and architectural runway.
• Lead architectural discussions, mentor architects, and foster communities of practice.
• Collaborate with product owners, tech leaders, and developers to design cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure robust security alignment with Information Security and governance teams.
• Provide data-driven leadership using metrics and dashboards to inform decisions.
