Job summary

PECO seeks an Enterprise Systems Architect to shape and govern the technology landscape. You will bridge business strategy and technology, guiding architecture decisions across applications, data, and AI-enabled solutions to support growth and modernization.

The role reports to the CIO and collaborates with executives, developers, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. Hybrid work with IT office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive technology experience in architecture roles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across apps, data, cloud and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technology platforms and Azure services.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, EDI, and system interoperability.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable architecture and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise technology solutions aligned with long-term architecture strategy.
• Translate requirements into scalable architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
• Lead alignment across applications, data platforms, infrastructure, and AI solutions.
• Identify opportunities to modernize, reduce debt, and improve efficiency.
• Lead integration strategy across APIs, EDI, middleware, and data exchanges.
• Improve data architecture, governance, and quality.
• Evaluate platforms for security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support cloud-first strategy via Azure architecture and modernization.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize AI-enabled capabilities.
• Provide guidance from concept to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with security, development, and business teams.
