Job summary

Smart Synergies in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape our technology landscape and align IT strategy with business goals.

You will partner with senior leadership and product teams to design enterprise architecture, governance, and roadmaps, while mentoring engineering teams and evaluating emerging technologies.

The role emphasizes cloud strategy with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and security controls within a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems architecture, and/or technology solution design.
• 5 years of direct experience architecting Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Progressive responsibility in project planning, systems analysis, application development, and software testing.

Responsibilities

• 5 years of direct experience architecting Microsoft Azure solutions

• A track record of progressive responsibility in project planning, systems analysis, application development, and software testing

Technical Skills:

• 5 years designing, governing, and deploying enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure environments

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Power Platform, and Microsoft”s security and data platforms

• Demonstrated experience building Azure governance frameworks, landing zones, identity architectures, and cloud security controls in a Microsoft-centric enterprise environment
