Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring an Engineering Program Manager Level 4 in Sunnyvale, CA, to drive end-to-end technical execution across multi-disciplinary engineering teams. You will partner with engineering managers and leads to ensure cost, schedule, quality, and staffing alignment with program milestones.

The role requires a STEM degree with substantial experience, leadership as a technical project lead, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in STEM with required years of experience.
• 4 years’ experience as a technical project lead (IPT lead or equivalent).
• Understanding of engineering processes with execution experience.
• Ability to summarize and communicate status reports to technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage programmatic engineering execution, cost, schedule, and staffing.
• Act as Scrum Master and remove barriers for the team.
• Own the engineering control account, collect cost/schedule data, drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain an executable engineering schedule and budget aligned with milestones.
• Lead the Engineering proposal activities.
• Manage engineering scope baseline and enforce configuration control per SEMP.
• Develop and maintain engineering staffing demands.
• Collect and manage engineering metrics and drive to completion.
• Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work.
