Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Account Executive Energy Solutions in its Sustainable Infrastructure business to drive performance contracting for commercial buildings, delivering guaranteed energy savings and value at the executive level.

You will build and manage relationships with building owners, manage the full sales cycle, coordinate with COE and service teams, and travel up to 50% to win large opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level.
• Experience selling energy solutions performance contracts.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Sell JCI offerings persuasively to building owners and owners reps at the C-level.
• Build long-term customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Lead the sales team and coordinate with COE, legal, and finance resources.
• Use Salesforce and other tools to plan and track progress.
