Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Procurement Manager, Energy Solutions to lead end-to-end sourcing across solar, storage, EV/mobility and related electrical infrastructure in the Americas. You will design category strategies, run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and partner with Finance and project teams to optimize value and risk.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of procurement experience in energy infrastructure, proven cost-of-ownership improvements, and the ability to scale procurement processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement and sourcing experience, including negotiations, contracting, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience conducting and evaluating RFPs for energy-related contractors, service providers, long-lead equipment, material vendors, or new technologies.
• Procurement experience in at least one energy infrastructure category, such as EPC services, solar or BESS equipment, electrical infrastructure, or operations and maintenance.
• Demonstrated success improving total cost of ownership, managing procurement and supplier risks, or improving supplier performance.
• Demonstrated ability to scale procurement strategies and processes across an enterprise.
• Ability to develop recommendations and influence cross-functional and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive sourcing, negotiations, and contracting for equipment, construction, and service partners supporting energy projects, including terms related to performance, delays, warranties, payments, delivery, change orders, and service obligations.
• Develop category strategies across energy and renewable assets by analyzing supply chains, costs, lead times, supplier capabilities, and changing supply-demand conditions.
• Establish and maintain the Energy Solutions procurement engagement model across intake, ownership, decision rights, and coordination of needs.
• Take a portfolio-wide view to optimize supplier base, standardize approaches, and strengthen purchasing leverage while preserving competition and resilience.
• Monitor market, regulatory, and supply-chain risks and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
• Manage sourcing initiatives end to end: RFPs, evaluations, vendor qualification, awards, onboarding, and project coordination.
• Collaborate with Suppliers, Finance, and project teams to define requirements, manage inventory, and support reallocations as needed.
