Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) US Communications & Government Affairs seeks a Director, Strategic Enablement & Operations to partner with the VP and LT to align priorities, drive enterprise efficiency, and ensure rigorous execution across a complex matrixed function.

The role builds governance, dashboards, and planning processes, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, and delivers executive communications and strategic insights to senior leaders, helping US CGA deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of total working experience in any combination of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, public affairs, communications, government affairs, or related disciplines
• Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams in highly matrixed organizations
• Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and operational improvement efforts
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Proven executive communication and presentation development experience
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of U.S. Communications & Government Affairs to drive alignment and connectivity across US CGA and other USC functions (Market Access, US Medical, etc.)
• Lead execution of near, medium, and long-term projects and strategic initiatives across the US CGA function with coordination across USC and Global functions
• Translate enterprise and business priorities into coordinated functional strategies and execution plans
