Job summary

Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas; must obtain Texas license within six months if not currently licensed.
- Five+ years of directly related employment-law experience.
- Experience with immigration matters and UK employment law preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide employment-law counsel and strategic guidance on leave, discipline, terminations, and workforce actions.
- Draft and review legal documents (EEOC responses, wage claims, investigations).
- Investigate employment-related matters and advise on risk and compliance.
- Research federal/state laws and agency policies; advise management on risk levels.
- Update policies and staff training on employment-law topics.
- Coordinate with OAG on defense of agency in litigation; support TRICOT in international matters.
