Job summary

Ancora Education seeks an Employer Relations Specialist to develop and manage employer relationships, securing partnerships, advisory boards, and externship sites. The role requires maintaining detailed records of employer visits and job orders while supporting graduate employment verification.

Up to 70% travel is expected. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, networking, and independent problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service and student success across campus

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in business/sales field or minimum 2 years comparable work experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Independent judgment and problem-solving creativity in prospecting approach.
• Proficient in computer research and database management.
• Understanding of building relationships, networking and community-based business development.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sustainable, long-term relationships with local, regional and national employers to increase opportunities for graduates.
• Develop and maintain community involvement to support campus branding.
• Attend weekly Career Services meetings to align goals and opportunities.
• Identify job leads and orders through outreach and prospecting.
• Follow up with employers after graduate interviews for feedback and hiring possibilities.
• Document all meetings, job leads and orders in CampusVue and coordinate with Career Coaches.
• Deliver Daily Activity Reports to the Director and Expense Reports weekly.
