Job summary

Ancora Education seeks an Employer Relations Specialist to develop and manage employer relationships that create employment opportunities for students and graduates. Under the Director of Career Services, you will procure partnerships, advisory board members, externship sites and engage grass roots campus activities.

You will maintain detailed records of visits, leads and orders in CampusVue. Up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2+ years related experience required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving and creative prospecting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Proficient in computer research and database management.
• Building relationships, networking and community-based business development.
• Customer service oriented toward student satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sustainable relationships with local, regional and national employers to increase opportunities for graduates.
• Develop community involvement to support campus branding within the campus footprint.
• Attend weekly Career Services team meetings to align opportunities with graduate pipelines.
• Identify job leads and orders through cold-calls, meetings and prospecting.
• Follow up with employers after graduate interviews for feedback and hiring possibilities.
• Communicate daily with the Career Coach/Director regarding interview feedback.
• Document all employer meetings, job leads and orders in CampusVue.
• Collaborate with Career Coaches to align opportunities with graduates.
• Deliver Daily Activity Report to the Director of Career Services daily.
• Deliver Expense Report weekly for reimbursement.
• Prioritize and strategize for optimal outcomes.
