Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Employer Engagement Manager to lead the employer engagement team and shape the programmatic strategy for employer development and partnerships. You will collaborate with Career Services, faculty, and campus administrators to create impactful in-person and virtual engagement activities that expand internship and job opportunities for students and alumni.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and at least 4 years in higher education career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.
• Master’s Degree preferred or degree in assigned college discipline.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in higher education career advising or related field.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours, including evenings/weekends for events.
• Background check required.
• Demonstrate positive example aligned with University mission and Doctrinal/ Ethical statements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual plan for in- and out-of-state employer engagement to expand the GCU Employer Network.
• Monitor industry hiring cycles and workforce trends to inform outreach priorities.
• Evaluate engagement initiatives and document employer communications and engagement levels.
• Coordinate cross-functional engagement activities and events with departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure post-event follow-up on hiring outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Supervise full or part-time staff and student workers.
