Job summary

PeaceHealth in Vancouver, WA seeks an Employee Relations Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and caregivers on employee relations matters. You will identify risks, coach leaders, and collaborate on compliant solutions to foster positive caregiver experiences.

You will build strong relationships, support fair employment practices, and work with HR, Legal, and Compliance to address complex ER issues while aligning with PeaceHealth’s values and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years Human resources experience, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience in a HRBP or equivalent role, focused on relationship development.
• Labor relations experience.
• Certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders and caregivers on employee relations matters, providing guidance on workplace concerns and policy interpretation.
• Assess employee relations concerns, identify risks and root causes, and partner to implement compliant resolutions.
• Provide consultation, coaching, and support to leaders in managing employee and labor relations issues.
• Facilitate resolution of workplace conflicts through coaching and mediation.
• Conduct or support workplace investigations and ensure confidential handling in line with policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, COEs, HRSC, Legal, and Compliance to address complex ER matters.
