Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) seeks an experienced emergency management professional to support domestic continuity programs for the Department of State. You will develop and evaluate policies, oversee notification systems, and coordinate incident management activities to safeguard national security operations.

The role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with federal directives, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of emergency management experience required.
• Knowledge of emergency notification systems for crisis dissemination.
• Knowledge of federal emergency management directives, regulations, policies, laws, and standards.
• Experience providing technical assistance for emergency-related programs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to brief leadership.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, or evaluate emergency management policies and capabilities.
• Provide policy oversight for domestic emergency notification and incident management programs.
• Oversee emergency notification system messaging and stakeholder outreach.
• Design or support trainings, tabletop exercises, and after-action inputs.
• Support 24/7 Duty Officer program, crisis monitoring, and leadership briefs.
• Prepare papers, memos, and department correspondence for the emergency program.
