Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) in the United States seeks an experienced security-focused engineer to evaluate technologies, plan policies for State resources, and test vulnerabilities in software and hardware for networks.

You will design lab network/video cabling, analyze architectures for optimal security and performance, and document results for senior Department of State managers while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience and a master’s degree in CS/engineering, or ten years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience configuring, designing, and maintaining Windows servers in a lab.
• Programming experience and CLI development in a laboratory setting.
• Familiar with patch/backup management solutions and security best practices.
• Knowledge of AD, LDAP, OCSP, bandwidth usage, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new technologies and security vulnerabilities.
• Plan policies and guidelines for state‑of‑the‑art equipment use in State resources.
• Test vulnerabilities in software and hardware for networks.
• Design and deploy network and video infrastructure cabling for a lab.
• Analyze architectures to optimize performance, security, and testing.
• Document testing procedures and results for senior state managers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues under tight deadlines.
• Research, test, review, and report emergent technologies.
