Job summary

Washington Military Department's Emergency Management Division is seeking an Accreditation and Strategy Program Manager to oversee EMAP, CIP, and strategic initiatives. The role involves leading performance measurement, Corrective Action Programs, and driving continuous improvement across the state emergency management program.

Responsibilities include coordinating the EMD Strategic Plan, supporting disaster response in SEOC during activations, and representing the state in federal field offices

Qualifications

  • One year of emergency management program specialist 3 experience.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of professional level experience in emergency management, financial management, training/education, public information/affairs, program/project management or urban planning.
  • Two years of experience in two or more of: strategic planning, metrics, EMAP or CIP, program/project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cohesiveness and organizational effectiveness for EMD and the state program.
  • Lead EMAP and CIP initiatives as SME in emergency management and process improvement.
  • Develop collection and analysis of performance management data and communicate results.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts and coordinate execution of the EMD Strategic Plan.
  • Serve in an operational capacity in the SEOC and/or Disaster Field Office.
