Job summary

Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division, seeks an Accreditation and Strategy Program Manager to drive cohesive strategy, accreditation, and performance improvement across the division. You will manage EMAP, lead corrective actions, and shape the EMD strategic plan.

Occasional telework may be available; you will serve in SEOC during activations and coordinate with FEMA/JFO partners to strengthen disaster readiness and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year as Emergency Management Program Specialist 3 or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in EM/public administration.
• Two years of experience in two or more areas: strategic planning, metrics, EMAP, CIP, project management.
• Master's/PhD can substitute for experience; two years of applied program mgmt is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMAP management and continuous improvement initiatives for the EMD.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to align with strategic goals.
• Coordinate corrective actions and stakeholder reports (SPR) activities.
• Support SEOC operations and representation in JFOs with FEMA/DFO as needed.
