Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Electronics) to drive global sourcing strategies, supplier transitions, and contract negotiations across the Electronics pillar.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and successful new product introductions. The role demands strong strategic sourcing expertise, stakeholder management, and leadership in cross-functional transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Internal SME for the commodity/ supplier base managed.
• Strong sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI with data analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Leads Electronics categories.

Responsibilities

• Establish global sourcing strategies to maximize operating profit.
• Develop alternate sources; conduct RFPs and negotiate terms.
• Lead supplier alliances through contract negotiations.
• Improve supplier performance and service levels.
• Mitigate risk with supplier agreements and regulatory compliance.
• Rationalize supply base to support strategy.
• Reduce product complexity through supplier collaboration.
• Support Kanban and supply-to-consume processes.
• Manage commodity spend and BOM accuracy.
