Job summary

Acuity Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing (Electronics) to drive global sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional programs across Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing.

You will ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, risk mitigation, and successful NPI execution within the Electronics pillar. The role requires strong strategic sourcing expertise, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead complex supplier transformations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Previously recognized as an internal SME for the commodity or supplier base managed.
• Strong sourcing acumen and negotiation skills.
• Strong skill set for leadership and strategic thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft Office applications, with strong data analysis, and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• This role will lead our categories within the Electronics team.

Responsibilities

• Establish global sourcing strategies to maximize operating profit.
• Create and execute RFPs to negotiate best price and terms.
• Develop supplier alliances through contract negotiations and partnerships.
• Measure supplier performance to improve service and customer experience.
• Negotiate mid-form agreements to minimize Acuity liability exposure.
• Maintain country-of-origin records for each purchased part.
• Identify and consolidate sources of supply to support strategy.
• Reduce product complexity by consolidating parts and managing BOMs procured.
