Egan Company is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Procurement Specialist within the Electrical group to support long-term business growth with new and existing customers in a variety of markets.

We are looking for candidates who have strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills to support electrical teams at Egan Company. This role is based in our Minnesota operations and emphasizes efficient purchasing, supplier collaboration, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction or distribution is required.
• Strong knowledge of materials and products used in electrical construction.
• Proficient with standard office software (Google Suite, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Procure and expedite materials for projects to internal customers.
• Assist PMs and Field Leaders with material selection and supplier sourcing.
• Support procurement process improvements.
• Manage material shortages and supplier relationships.
• Provide supply chain updates to teams.
• Assist with daily flow of material orders.
• Support lean construction initiatives related to purchasing.
