Egan Company in Champlin, MN is seeking a Procurement Intern to support purchasing for industrial control panel design and manufacturing. You will assist with supplier research, material returns, and process improvements, gaining exposure to engineering and production coordination.

• Support production coordinator by managing material shortages, reprioritization of work activities, providing supply chain updates, and assisting with meeting on time delivery metrics

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in engineering, accounting, business economics, or related fields

Egan Company is seeking candidates for a Procurement Intern role located in Champlin MN to join our team. The Procurement Intern will gain knowledge and skills to support the process of engineering and manufacturing complex electrical and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the purchasing of materials through our suppliers for projects and products associated with our industrial control panel design and manufacturing
• Assist engineering and project team members with researching and selecting alternative materials and/or suppliers to ensure on time delivery
• Return unused and overstock materials to suppliers

Position Requirements

Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in engineering, accounting, business economics, or related fields.
