You will prepare and submit competitive bids by gathering proposals, blueprints, and specs; determine labor, material, and time needs; and analyze costs using Excel and estimating software.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical estimating, a related degree, strong blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Able to interpret blueprints beyond electrical.
• Experience with cost estimation and bidding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints and specs.
• Identify labor, material and time requirements.
• Compute costs using Excel or estimating software.
• Update cost databases to reflect market changes.
• Submit competitive bids according to guidelines.
