Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking an Electrical Estimator in New Castle, PA. You will review project plans, specs, and bids to develop accurate, competitive estimates while coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure pricing integrity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of electrical estimating experience, familiarity with NEC and local codes, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience (5+ years preferred).
• Familiarity with NEC, local codes, and construction requirements.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office.
• Attention to detail in cost analysis, design gaps, value engineering, and budgeting.
• Strong communication skills to lead discussions with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Growth mindset with willingness to pursue certifications.
• Education: Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Journeyman license or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Diverse project experience across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Estimation Process: review plans, specs, and bids to develop accurate estimates.
• Strategic Cost Analysis: optimize methods, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Supplier & Contractor Coordination: obtain pricing and build relationships.
• Bid Oversight: supervise bid generation and submission strategies.
• Project Collaboration: align on scope, budget, and execution with PMs.
• Market Intelligence: provide industry insights on workloads and trends.
