Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Senior Manager, EHS & Process Safety to lead the EHSS-based safety culture at the NBR facility, ensuring environmental, health and safety compliance across operations.

You will develop programs, manage PSM elements for the Cogeneration Plant, support PHAs/HAZOP, and partner with operations to integrate policy, training and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in science or engineering required.
• 8–12 years of experience in a highly regulated operations/EHS role.
• Experience in chemical, power plant or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Experience in a matrix organization and MS Office/EHS systems like Intelex is desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, medical surveillance and sustainability laws and guides.
• Manage PSM elements for the Cogeneration Plant (COGEN).
• Support PHA/HAZOP studies and resolution of action items.
• Manage MOC process and change impact assessments for plant modifications.
• Oversee Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new/modified equipment.
• Develop and implement new EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
