Job summary

George’s in Springdale, Arkansas, seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to provide EHS leadership and strategic direction for Live Operations, guiding continuous improvement across the organization.

This role partners with Live Operations management to implement proactive programs, ensure OSHA compliance, foster a safety culture, train teams, investigate incidents, and drive long‑term risk reduction and operational sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience OR 9+ years in EHS and sustainability management.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, hazard communications, accident investigation and safety training methods)
• Strong math and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead complex EHS function as a valuable business partner.
• Proactively analyze opportunities for improvements; collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and measure EHS solutions.
• Lead the compliance with OSHA regulations and OSHA/George’s Ergonomic program; inspect machinery and working conditions to ensure compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Technology, or related field

9+ years of experience in environment, health, safety, and sustainability management
