Job summary

Frontline Source Group seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager for a large Louisville operation. This leadership role drives strategic EHS programs across the site, partnering with plant leadership, engineers, and hourly staff to elevate safety culture beyond compliance.

The ideal candidate will coach a team of EHS professionals, manage cross‑functional safety initiatives, and influence decisions at the plant level while upholding OSHA/epA requirements and union relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive EHS experience within manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop employees.
• Experience moving safety programs from compliance to proactive risk prevention.
• Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams including hourly workforces.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive EHS strategy for a large, complex operation.
• Drive risk identification and prevention across plant operations.
• Coach and develop EHS professionals and supervisors.
• Partner with plant leadership to integrate safety into operations and decisions.
• Lead safety initiatives with cross-functional teams and town halls.
• Support regulatory inspections and ensure corrective actions.
