Job summary

Home Chef in Chicago, IL is seeking an Operations Program Manager for Safety & Sustainability to lead EH&S policy development and program execution across all facilities.

You will drive health and safety policy, training, and KPI reporting, partnering with site leadership and HR to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in safety and sustainability across the organization. This role requires 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Strong MS Office or G Suite skills, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to respond to inquiries nights and weekends.
• Four-year degree in Environmental/OHS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements Health and Safety policies, programs, and systems.
• Promotes safety culture and ensures regulatory alignment.
• Tracks safety KPIs and generates reports for Ops teams.
• Partners with HR and plant Safety Managers on incident management and compliance.
