Job summary

Home Chef seeks a Safety & Sustainability Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs across facilities. The role develops and implements EH&S policies, training, and incident response while maintaining safety metrics and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with site leadership, HR, and plant safety managers, traveling up to 25% to support multiple locations and ensure best practices are shared across networks.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in EHS team capacity preferred.
• Completion of a four-year degree in Environmental or Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office or G Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willingness to respond to inquiries nights and weekends.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements EH&S policies, programs, and systems.
• Maintains safety KPIs and reports to Ops teams.
• Supports OSHA and regulatory inquiries with documentation templates.
• Drives safety training programs across facilities.
• Partner with HR and plant Safety Managers on incident management and workers compensation.
