Job summary

Home Chef is seeking an Operations Program Manager - Safety & Sustainability in Chicago, IL. You will lead EH&S policy development, training, safety metrics, and sustainability initiatives across all facilities.

You will partner with plant leaders, HR and safety managers to embed safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA), and drive cost-effective environmental programs. Travel about 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in an EHS team
• Four-year degree in Environmental or Occupational Safety & Health or related field
• Proficiency with MS Office or G Suite, PowerPoint/Slides, and Excel/Sheets

Responsibilities

• Develops and Implements Health and Safety Policies, Programs, and Systems
• Ensures all required safety training content is created and implemented across all Home Chef facilities
• Maintains safety KPIs and generates reports for the Ops teams
• Identifies and drives sustainability initiatives and cost savings
• Serves as the safety SME and liaison with OSHA and regulatory teams
