The Live Oak Economic Development Corporation seeks an Economic Development and Marketing Manager to lead citywide development efforts, oversee the EDC budget, and drive retention and attraction programs. You will build relationships with local businesses, analyze economic conditions, and coordinate marketing across city channels to promote Live Oak as a premier business location.

Under the Assistant City Manager, you will manage programs like Live Oak VIP and serve on cross‑functional teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience in economic development.
• Knowledge of marketing, promotional techniques, and public information.
• Licenses, Certifications, and Equipment: A valid State driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilités

• Develops and presents EDC Annual Strategic Work Plan, Annual Budget and proposed projects to the EDC Board and City Council for approval.
• Develops and presents to the Visit Live Oak Board, Annual Budget and proposed projects to the Visit Live Oak Board and to City Council for approval.
• Develops and implements projects, recommendations, economic analyses, incentive analysis, and proposed policy changes for consideration by the EDC Board of Directors.
• Networks and builds relationships with the business community; retain/expand existing businesses and recruit new businesses from designated target sectors.
• Manages branding, marketing, and advertising of the EDC representing the City of Live Oak across channels.
