City of Live Oak Economic Development Corporation seeks a Marketing and EDC Manager to oversee the organization’s development initiatives and budgeting. You will build strong community relationships and analyze economic conditions for board insight and public accountability.

You will lead strategic planning, drive outreach to local businesses, and collaborate with City staff to promote Live Oak as a premier business destination.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible management and supervisory experience in economic development.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• A valid State driver’s license may be required.

Aufgaben

• Develops and presents EDC Annual Strategic Work Plan, Annual Budget and proposed projects to the EDC Board of Directors and City Council for approval.
• Develops and presents to the Visit Live Oak Board, Annual Budget and proposed projects to the Visit Live Oak Board and City Council for approval.
• Develops and implements projects, economic analyses, incentive analysis, and proposed policy changes for consideration by the EDC Board of Directors.
• Networks and builds relationships with the business community to retain/expand existing businesses and recruit new ones.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with employees, officials, other development agencies and the public.
