The City of Red Oak invites applications for Director of Economic Development. Under the Executive Director’s guidance, you will plan, coordinate, and implement programs for retail, commercial and industrial growth, business recruitment, retention, and expansion.

You will lead marketing and communications, manage incentives and projects, liaise with city departments and partners, and promote Red Oak to attract private investment and support the city’s legislative priorities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development or related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred in related fields.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in economic development or related fields.

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing economic development initiatives.
• Lead marketing and communications to raise city visibility and attract investment.
• Manage development projects including deal points and status communications.
• Evaluate incentives and prepare cost‑benefit analyses for decision makers.
