Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Lead Economic Development Project Manager in Florida to manage a portfolio of economic development projects within the FPL service territory. Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years of experience required; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee statewide economic development strategy implementation within the service territory.
• Initiate contact with prospects and gather information for recruitment plans.
• Build relationships with local government, community leaders, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration.
• Develop detailed proposals, provide sales presentations, and guide incentives processes.
• Conduct market research for new business development or partnerships.
• Coordinate responses between Rates/Regulatory, Power Delivery, and potential customers.
