Job summary

Community Counseling Center (CCC) is seeking an Early Diversion Outreach Specialist to perform short-term outreach, engagement, and care coordination for adults with mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders at risk of criminal justice involvement. You will connect individuals to appropriate behavioral health resources and collaborate with partners across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four-year combination of higher education and qualifying experience.
• Four years of qualifying experience.
• MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents) and proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach and engagement to identify adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders at risk of criminal justice involvement.
• Build relationships with law enforcement, EMS, fire departments, hospitals, and community partners to improve referrals.
• Screen individuals for mental health and substance use needs; assist with early identification.
