Job summary

STR’s Mission Applications Group is seeking a Lead Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of defense-focused programs, delivering operational prototypes from marketing to close-out. You will influence requirements, schedules, risk, and performance across broad technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Working with government customers, subcontractors, and STR leadership, you will ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries while maintaining strong customer relationships in a flexible hybrid work

Qualifications

• Program management experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Ability to manage multiple complex programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication with government customers and stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship capable of obtaining security clearance.
• Located near STR offices or willing to work in hybrid mode.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of programs from marketing to close-out.
• Identify mission requirements and prioritize technical development with government customers.
• Track schedules, milestones, risks, and program performance.
• Ensure timely deliveries and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Address risks with product managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Communicate status to STR leadership and customers.
