Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Subcontract Manager to join the Supply Chain Management team in Salt Lake City, UT. You will oversee end-to-end acquisition lifecycle for subcontracts, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR/DPAS and internal procedures.

The role interacts with suppliers and program teams to drive cost, schedule, and technical outcomes. Essential duties include managing subcontract performance, participating in source selections, and leading negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• 5 years experience negotiating cost elements, price, schedule and terms & conditions
• 5 years experience with various DoD Program lifecycles. (development, production, post-production)

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance in technical scope, schedule, and cost and generate scorecards.
• Apply project management skills to manage complex, sole sourced subcontracts.
• Cost/Price Analysis and lead negotiations.
• Navigate FAR/DFARS regulations and internal procedures.
• Communicate with program teams and suppliers.
• Provide subcontract status reports to leadership.
• Support subcontract close-out and dispute resolution.
• Travel ~30% of the time
