Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Cost Analyst to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support the Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) contract. You will perform cost analysis, develop cost models, and support program objective memoranda and budget planning processes.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree in engineering/statistics/m mathematics or related field, and substantial experience in DoD acquisition environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• At least six years of applicable experience, including four years in an active acquisition program office.
• ACEIT experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost analysis and estimating support for developing cost models.
• Prepare recommendations for program objectives, schedules, resource requirements, and cost documents (CARD, POE, LCCE).
• Develop and maintain ACEIT cost models and files.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for work packages and IGCEs.
• Support budgeting and planning activities including POM and budget year documentation.
• Analyze Program Office contracts earned value management data and identify cost variations.
• Assist in Procurement and R&D forms.
• Support affordability assessments with higher headquarters.
