Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Cost Analyst to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA. This full-time professional role supports the Product Manager Force Protection Systems contract by delivering cost analyses, estimates, and resource planning.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Statistics/Mathematics and at least six years of relevant experience, including four years in an acquisition program office. ACEIT experience is highly desired.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Cost Analysttojoin our team at Fort Belvoir, VAto supportour Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) contract.

Duties

• Provide cost analysis and estimating support in developing cost models for estimating program resource requirements.
• Prepare recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, resource requirements, and overall program plans to include DoD mandated documents such as the Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD), Program Office Estimates (POE), and Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE).
• Provide subject matter expertise in developing and maintaining Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) cost models and files.
• Assist in the development of cost estimates for work packages and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
• Participate in program/budget scheduling and planning activities that involve formulating both broad and specific guidelines for planning program elements and sub-elements, including preparation of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget year documentation.
• Provide expertise in analysis of Program Office contracts earned value management data and identify discrepancies, areas of ambiguities, and significant cost variations.
• Assist the program teams preparing annual Procurement and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (P&R) forms.
• Prepare and support Program of Record Affordability Assessments with higher headquarters.

Required Clearance

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree preferably in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least six (6) years of applicable experience to include four (4) years of relevant active experience in an acquisition program office or similar organization.
• ACEIT experience, highly desired.

Travel

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
