Job summary

Tharros has an immediate opportunity for a Budget Analyst in the United States to join our team and support DoD budgeting, cost estimating and financial reporting. You will assist with maintaining budgets, tracking funding and preparing analyses for leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–9 years of related finance/budget experience, with DoD budgets and DEAMS/DAI familiarity strongly preferred. Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-9 years related finance/budget experience.
• Experience in budgeting/analysis within DoD or governmental organizations.
• Direct DoD or Military budget experience/background.
• Familiar with cost analysis methods and budget processes.

Responsibilities

• Track budget line items, contracts, invoices and burn rates.
• Liaise between logistics/procurement and finance teams.
• Prepare and review budgets, financial plans and reports.
• Support PPBE processes and multi-year program budgeting.
• Coordinate with other financial organizations for budgetary support.
• Assist in budget briefings and management reviews.
