Tharros is seeking a Budget Analyst to join our team at Fort Meade. You will maintain, track, and report financial information and support cost estimating efforts for government missions.

Responsibilities include tracking budgets and invoices, liaising with logistics and finance, and supporting the PPBE process with data-driven insights. A Secret clearance and DoD budgeting background are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree and 3–9 years related finance/budget experience.
• Experience budgeting/analysis within DoD or governmental orgs; 2–3 years with DAI preferred.
• Direct DoD or Military budget experience/background.
• Experience with analytical methods (cost-benefit, ZBB, depreciation, PERT, planning-programming-budgeting).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Responsabilités

• Track budget line items and contracts, monitor burn rates and funding amounts.
• Act as liaison between logistics/procurement and finance teams.
• Perform data entry, process invoices and funding requests.
• Track and reconcile obligations and expenditures; ensure compliant reporting.
• Prepare and track routing forms; support PPBE processes.
• Assist with budgets, multi-year programs and resource planning.
• Update DoD databases and consolidate information for portfolios.
• Coordinate with financial organizations to provide budgetary support.
• Deliver budget briefings and prepare reports for management review.
• Respond to financial queries and conduct outlay analyses.
• Attend status review meetings to report on execution performance.
