Gallagher Benefit Services is seeking a Senior Financial & Actuarial Consultant to lead a team of actuarial professionals. You will provide underwriting guidance, develop financial projections, and ensure accurate use of tools and templates for US employer benefit plans.

You will mentor staff, drive best practices, and participate in client meetings to deliver measurable ROI. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this client-facing role within Gallagher’s Health and Benefits

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years experience with Broker or Carrier side with focus on Health and Benefits.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• High degree of understanding of employee benefits funding mechanisms.
• Must be familiar with carrier reporting systems.
• Be able to effectively articulate the format, content, and logic of all underwriting tools and client reports.
• Expertise in financial and actuarial consulting, with strong underwriting knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage a team of financial and actuarial professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients and internal teams.
• Provide resources, tools and training for underwriting analysis, developing financial projections, calculation of reserves, plan design modeling and overall financial analysis of US employer benefit plans.
• Mentor analysts and consultants, developing structured training programs and resources.
• Oversee tools, templates, and workflows for accuracy and efficiency, aligned with industry best practices.
• Represent the Financial and Actuarial Consulting team in client or prospect meetings as needed.
• Build relationships with Area Presidents and Regional Presidents to ensure FAC is represented within leadership.
• Assist in sales prospecting as needed.
• Maintain deep understanding of Gallagher’s proprietary tools and templates and ensure accuracy in their application.
• Provide guidance on capacity and workload distribution; act as a flexible resource for overflow work.
