Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services, a part of Gallagher, seeks a Health & Benefits Consultant to manage client engagements and design health and wellbeing programs. You will independently handle deliverables, build strong client relationships, and contribute to strategic projects while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with actuarial and specialty teams, vendor management, and actionable client insights to drive better outcomes in a complex benefits landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–5 years of health and welfare consulting experience.
• Active Life & Health License or willingness to obtain and maintain licensure within 6 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored health and welfare benefit programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management and execution of client engagements with project coordination across teams.
• Serve as primary client contact, manage communications, and ensure timely follow‑up on requests.
• Support design, implementation, and ongoing management of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
• Lead benchmarking, plan design evaluations, and cost-saving analyses with actuarial teams.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and service delivery in partnership with clients.
