Job summary

Deerfield Public Schools District 109 seeks a Director of Technology to lead the District's technology strategy and execution. You will manage end-to-end tech initiatives, supervise the technology team, MSPs, and third-party vendors, and ensure alignment with district goals and student outcomes.

The role requires extensive project leadership, budget oversight, security governance, and collaboration with Curriculum and Instruction to advance teaching and learning through technology.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing complex technology projects through the full lifecycle.
• Experience in budget development and vendor contracts.
• Experience leading MSPs and contracted tech services.
• K-12 experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the District's technology portfolio.
• Lead full project lifecycle from needs through implementation.
• Develop and communicate the technology roadmap and budgets.
• Oversee procurement, MSPs, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Curriculum and Instruction on tech initiatives.
